As for the profile of TRAB e. V. :

The focus of the association is on inclusion and integration of children, adolescents and adults with and without disability or handicap.

For the therapy and the sport-trained horses and ponies are available, their loose in groups and a welfare offers and the balance and satisfaction of the animals calls for, what the riders very benefit.

The range of the hippotherapy covers the physiotherapy treatment on the horse for people with movement disorders resulting from neurological or orthopaedic disorders such as multiple sclerosis or cerebral disorders.

It causes an improvement in the motion sequences, the balance, a coordination training, as well as the normalization of muscle tone.

Be encouraged to be well acclimatized to the horse, the handling of the horses and horse riding with heal educational focus specifically designed for children, young people and adults with learning difficulties, behavioral abnormalities, trauma, psychological problems or mental disability.

The joy with the horses, and obtained when riding in addition to improve the emotional and social behavior, perception and concentration as well as the communication, motor skills and coordination.

It opens up the horse riding as a sport for riders with physical and intellectual handicap, as well as for people with amputations, paralysis and blindness/deafness etc.

The Association has 10 trained tray trainer and provides various forms of cooperation with regional bodies such as promotional and special schools, mainstream schools, children homes and daycare centers in the district of Constance.

It offers opportunities for internships, bogy and FSJ to complete.

BVE-measures (professional preparatory institution) can also be performed (currently two employees).

To the emergence of TRAB e. V. :

1994 Founding of the Association, with implementation of the first therapy hours.

1995 - 2003 waypoints on the "Schumacherhof" in Konstanz and the "Ziegelhof" in Wallhausen.

Removal of the therapy of the integrative activities and horseback riding.

2003 Move to the inside TRAB e.V. with 4 Association horses, 2 private horses and 50 association members instead.

2010 The beginning of the construction of the new horse riding planned for approximately           21 Association horses, 32 private horses and 350 members.

To the new horse riding:

On 6,236 sqm building and open space and 1,952 sqm agricultural terrain, in the long-term lease from the city of Constance was made available to, currently a riding with 20 x 60 m gangs scope; sanitary facilities, course room, riding instructors rooms and rider coffeebar.

1 Storage Hall 13 x 23 m; 2 stables with Paddock-Boxes for 20 horses and 2 open stables with place for each 16 horses, saddlery and cleaning places.

The warm water is via solar collectors.

The complete facility is barrier-free and designed to cater for disabled guests.

The project was realized Completion up to the present by the support of the town of Constance, grants from Baden Sports Association, of the Baden people with disabilities and rehabilitation association and of the motivate of the sporting office of Constance.
TRAB e.V. offers an peri-urban location and affordable connections and also a year-round and affordable therapeutic offer.

Donors have the option to drop off a regular receipt to receive the tax office, since the association has the non-profit recognition.

Zum Profil von TRAB e. V.:

Der Schwerpunkt des Vereins liegt auf Inklusion und Integration von Kindern, Jugendlichen und Erwachsenen mit und ohne Behinderung bzw. Handicap.
Für die Therapie und den Breitensport ausgebildete Pferde und Ponys stehen zur Verfügung, deren Offenstallhaltung in Gruppen eine artgerechte Haltung bietet und die Ausgeglichenheit und Zufriedenheit der Tiere fördert, was den Reitern sehr zugute kommt.

Das Spektrum der angebotenen Hippotherapie deckt die krankengymnastische Behandlungsmethode auf dem Pferd für Menschen mit Bewegungsstörungen infolge neurologischer oder orthopädischer Erkrankungen wie z.B. Multiple Sklerose oder zerebraler Bewegungsstörungen ab. Es bewirkt eine Verbesserung der Bewegungsabläufe, des Gleichgewichts, eine Koordinationsschulung sowie die Normalisierung des Muskeltonus.

Gefördert werden die Gewöhnung an das Pferd, der Umgang mit den Pferden und Reiten mit heilpädagogischem Schwerpunkt speziell für Kinder, Jugendliche und Erwachsene mit Lernschwierigkeiten, Verhaltensauffälligkeiten, Traumata, psychischen Problemen oder geistiger Behinderung.

Die Freude mit den Pferden und beim Reiten erwirkt zusätzlich eine Verbesserung des Emotional- und Sozialverhaltens, Wahrnehmung und Konzentration sowie der Kommunikation, Motorik und Koordination. Es erschließt das Reiten als Sport für Reiter mit körperlichem und geistigem Handicap sowie für Menschen mit Amputationen, Lähmungen und Blindheit/Taubheit etc.

Der Verein hat 10 ausgebildete Fachtrainer und leistet vielfältige Zusammenarbeit mit regionalen Einrichtungen wie Förder- und Sonderschulen, Regelschulen, Kindergärten und Kindertagesstätten im Landkreis Konstanz.

Er bietet Möglichkeiten für Praktika, BOGY und FSJ zu absolvieren.

BVE-Maßnahmen (Berufsvorbereitungseinrichtung) können ebenfalls durchgeführt werden (derzeit zwei Mitarbeiter).                                                                        

Zur Entstehung von TRAB e. V.:

1994 Gründung des Vereins mit Durchführung der ersten Therapiestunden.

1995 - 2003 Zwischenstationen auf dem Schumacherhof in Konstanz und dem Ziegelhof in Wallhausen.

Ausbau der Therapietätigkeiten und der integrativen Reitstunden.

2003 Umzug auf den Reithof TRAB e. V. mit 4 Vereinspferden, 2 Privatpferden und 50 Vereinsmitgliedern statt.

2010 Beginn des Baus der neuen Reitanlage geplant für ca. 21 Vereinspferden, 32 Privatpferden und 350 Mitgliedern.

Zur neuen Reitanlage:

Auf 6.236 qm Gebäude- und Freifläche und 1.952 qm landwirtschaftlichem Gelände, das in langfristiger Erbpacht von der Stadt Konstanz zur Verfügung gestellt wurde, entstehen derzeit eine Reithalle mit 20 x 60 m Bandenumfang; Sanitärräume, Lehrgangsraum, Reitlehrerzimmer und Reiterstübchen.
1 Bergehalle 13 x 23 m; 2 Ställe mit Paddock-Boxen für 20 Pferde und 2 Ställe mit Offenstallhaltung für jeweils 16 Pferde; Sattelkammer und Putzplätze.
Die Warmwasseraufbereitung erfolgt über Solarkollektoren.
Die komplette Einrichtung wird barrierefrei und behindertengerecht gebaut.

Das Projekt wurde bis zum heutigen Fertigungsstand realisiert durch die Unterstützung der Stadt Konstanz, Zuschüssen vom badischen Sportbund, dem badischen Behinderten- und Rehabilitationsverband und des Sportamtes Konstanz.
TRAB e. V. bietet eine stadtnahe Lage und günstige Verkehrsanbindung sowie ein ganzjähriges und bezahlbares therapeutisches Angebot.

Spender haben die Möglichkeit eine reguläre Spendenbescheinigung zur Absetzung beim Finanzamt zu erhalten, da der Verein die gemeinnützige Anerkennung hat.

Desweiteren bietet der Verein attraktive Gegenleistungen für Sponsoren wie beispielsweise Bandenwerbung, Namensgebung einzelner Stallungen und Pferdeboxen durch den Sponsor, namentliche Nennung der Spender und Sponsoren auf einer Tafel im Eingangsbereich und Sonderveranstaltungen.
